With a record of 19-6, they proved to be a powerhouse on the court, making it all the way to the third round of the playoffs. The Auctioneers' impressive journey was fueled by their commitment to excellence and strong leadership, both on and off the court. Under the guidance of Head Coach Eric Troy, the team demonstrated what it means to play with heart and unity. Coach Troy’s leadership helped shape the Auctioneers into a well-coached, disciplined unit. His strategic insight and ability to bring out the best in his players were key factors in their success. Among the standout performers this season were three key players who led the charge: sophomore Dakarai Worley, junior Deyon Ford, and senior Ernest Ford. Dakarai Worley, a rising star, showed incredible poise and maturity throughout the season. His scoring ability, ball handling, and defensive prowess made him an integral part of the Auctioneers' success. As a sophomore, he showcased the kind of talent that promises great things for the team in the seasons to come. Deyon Ford, a dynamic junior, brought a mix of versatility and athleticism to the team. His leadership on the floor, combined with his scoring and playmaking abilities, made him a crucial component of the Auctioneers' offense. Deyon’s resilience under pressure allowed him to perform in clutch moments, contributing significantly to the team’s deep playoff run. Ernest Ford, the team's senior leader, brought invaluable experience to the court. His basketball IQ and leadership were unmatched, both in practices and during games. Ernest’s scoring ability and tenacity helped guide the team through challenging moments, and his role as a mentor for the younger players was crucial in keeping the team focused on their goals.
